Volumes is an American metalcore band from Los Angeles. The group was founded in 2009 and debuted with their first EP in 2010 entitled ''The Concept of Dreaming''. This was followed with their debut full-length album ''Via'' (2011) which was followed by their 2014 album entitled ''No Sleep''. Both albums peaked at #1 on iTunes Rock & Metal charts. The band consists of guitarist Diego Farias, bassist Raad Soudani, vocalists Michael Barr and Gus Farias, and drummer Nick Ursich. Volumes make use of "bouncy" guitar riffs, groove-driven breakdowns, nu metal influence and dual lead vocalists. Volumes has also confirmed that Barr will not be appearing on the upcoming studio album which is to be released in the Summer of 2016. Speculation erupted that Barr had not left the band but was rather kicked from the band, most likely for dropping out of their previous European tour to work on the upcoming studio album.
